How much would you want???

A couple of weeks ago me and a friend went to Global Gathering which was really good but i found myself in a bit of a whirlpool for most of the duration. I found out what hell would be like (stuck in a field surrounded by weird brummies, while thinking i recognise everyone), i almost never got my white plimsoll's dirty until i had to battle the tidal wave outside the portaloo's, i walked from one side of the site to the other to get a cider because i didn't want to queue but then found out there was a bar in the tent we were in with queue, i saw a man dressed as a Rubik cube, i saw the amazing gods kitchen boom box stage and sooo much more.

Any way after all the mad shenanigans of the techno brumfest we called for the cab to take us back to our hotel, yes that's right hotel as my friend said there would be no where for hair straighteners. So we are sat in the hotel at around 6am with the bar all to our self's and the conversations were getting rather weird even more weird than my friend sitting with my sun glasses looking very much like Elton john.

And then it came to me... HOW MUCH WOULD SOMEONE WANT FOR A PUNCH TO THE FACE??? the way i see it everyone has a price. So we sat there thinking of all the people we knew and all celebrities and how much they would want for a random punch to the face, lets get this straight i didn't actually want to do or see any one get hit or hurt just purely wanted to know their reaction to the question and what price they would go for. After a few beers and a bowel of nachos and feeling even more drunk i got my first chance to find out a strangers true cost, 2 women who had also been to the brumfest had walked through the door, i called them over and asked the the question. The first woman's face just dropped like a Salvador Dali painting, then her BIG nosed Gonzo look a like mate piped up and said '£3000, i would do it for £3000, i would clearly have to think about the possibility of a nose job after'

We came to the decision that there were many factors that would determine everyones individual price and also what kind of punch would it be, straight on the nose or to the chin.

Any way i got to see two very different reactions which made it all very interesting

Got to go now
hope your all well and take care

In the beginning...

Hello one and all

Although this is something I've wanted to do for a long time now, this is all very new to me.
I will generally talk about ME, MY life and what i see around ME, selfish i know but i believe you have to start with what you know even though i feel I'm still finding myself in this world. I'm sure it will be quite sketchy and like a Tarantino movie I'll go from the present to the past and far into the future and leave you thinking (i hope) but not always in that order. I hope it's enjoyable for us all and i hope you all express your honest thoughts in the comments box.

Right i will start off with what's happened today and probably about one of my favorite subjects - FOOD :D

Today i was taken to http://www.rockandroserestaurant.co.uk/ a really amazing restaurant by my girlfriend Agatha. I have been wanting to go for ages (which was recommended by a good friend) and finally got there. The first thing you notice is the decor, a lot of pink, white and black. Candles every where on tall candelabras, black chandlers, amazing chairs and generally a lot of things to look at which are pleasing to the eye. As for the food i wanted more for the starter but felt a little rushed by the waiter and only ended with humus and pita bread which in hind sight I'm glad that's all we had. For my main i was told i should go for the lobster linguine, i was in two minds as I'm quite hesitant with anything fishy and hadn't had lobster before but I promised myself this year to crack on with all things new and took it. I don't think I have tasted anything quite like it and m so glad i chose that over the curry (which also looked amazingly delicious). I got to sample a bit of Agatha's tuna steak grill with mango salsa, which i think i will have next time. I cant believe I've missed all this amazing food all my life. This was followed up with the biggest crème brûlée known to man and a glass of Jack Daniel's single barrel.

It was a struggle to get home and its been a struggle to write this, my stomach is aching as i sit here to tell you all this. I feel exhausted even thinking about what i have just eaten, right now i feel like this guy

I'm not sure how this will sound when i read it back, not too great im sure but I'm hoping it's going to get better

I'm off to eat a tub of lard and i wish you all well

good night and god bless
